An acquaintance I’m not very familiar with asked if I wanted to go for lunch some time ago and I said yes.
On the way to lunch, we started talking about workouts and I mentioned that mine are fun, easy, and fit so well into my day, I have no excuse to get out of it.
She was intrigued and asked if I worked out every day. Every day except for being sick or work-related reasons.
I told her I’ve been a fan of Beachbody workouts since 2013 and they’ve never failed to deliver on my expectations.
She had never heard of Beachbody workouts so I went all out to create a write-up for her on Beachbody programs for beginners to encourage her.
That write-up grew longer and longer so I decided to expand it into an article about Beachbody workouts for Fitness At Every Age readers.

Are Beachbody Workouts Effective?
With over 1,000 workouts and nutrition plans included, Beachbody workouts are a perfect home workout program.
It is especially useful for someone who wants structure and impressive results but doesn’t have a lot of time to get down to the gym.
Now that we’re all on lockdown, now is a great time to get started with Beachbody workouts.

What is Beachbody at Home Workouts?
These incredibly effective workouts come to you from Beachbody, a California company that produces fitness, weight loss, and muscle building home-exercise videos.
They also have the Beachbody on Demand program, which is an online subscription service that streams all their workouts.
The workouts can be streamed across multiple devices and are easy to access on the go.
In addition to the workouts, the program also includes nutrition guides and a cooking section with recipes available every week.
Are Beachbody Workouts Good for Beginners?
As someone who started with Beachbody workouts in 2013 with Insanity, I can tell you their workouts are great for beginners as well as advanced-level gurus.
Beachbody workouts have a program for every level of fitness. I started with Insanity and graduated to more advanced level workouts over the years.
Funny story, at the time, I didn’t know Insanity was so advanced and picked it up because I saw it in the store.
By the time I realized what I got myself into, my sense of competition wouldn’t allow me to give up on it and I saw it through the whole dang thing.
Which Beachbody Program Has Best Results?
It depends on what your fitness goals are and you have to look through each one to pick what’s best for you.

What’s included in Beachbody workouts defers from program to program but you can expect the following in most of them:-

Individual programs might have equipment or meal containers specific to that program as well.

Which Beachbody Workout is Best for Beginners?
If you’re just getting into fitness and want to get into it slowly, you can start with programs like 21 Day Fix, 3 Week Yoga Retreat, and A Little Obsessed.
What Equipment Do I Need for Beachbody Workouts?
The equipment varies from workout to workout. Some workouts are pure cardio and all you need are gym clothes.
Others require different weights and resistance bands and some require a lot more equipment or even a mini home gym.
Because of space restrictions, I usually opt for workouts that require no equipment or minimal equipment like weights and resistance bands.
Are You a Beachbody Coach?
Nope. I have too many things on my plate. I, however, love Beachbody workouts and have been using them since 2013 to whip myself into shape.
Is Beachbody a Pyramid Scheme?
Nope. I’m just sharing one of the things I do that has kept me in fantastic shape and continue to be part of my regimen into my 30s.

My Final Word on Beachbody Workouts
Beachbody workouts and Jillian Michaels workouts are my go-to workout programs.
