21 Day Fix Extreme Week 2 Update

Here’s my update of 21 Day Fix Extreme Week 2, which was a lot tougher than week 1 in some parts.

21 Day Fix Extreme Week 2 is basically a repeat of week 1 with a few changes on day 8 and day 13.

Week 2 will make you cry, scream, and experience out-of-body come-to Jesus moments.

However, as all this happens, your body gets stronger every day.

I took some shots of myself during the workout and I’ve included them below.

They’re not very good because of the lighting but you can see my current fitness level.

For week 2, I challenged myself by increasing my weights for any workout that felt kind of easy.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 8 – Plyo Fix Extreme or Power Strength Extreme

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 9 – Upper Fix Extreme and 10 Min Hardcore

Day 9 is a repeat of day 2. You can catch up on my update of upper fix extreme and 10 min hardcore at 21 Day Fix Extreme Week 1.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 10 – Pilates Fix Extreme

Day 10 is a repeat of day 3. You can catch up on my update of pilates fix extreme at 21 Day Fix Extreme Week 1.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 11 – Lower Fix Extreme and 10 Min Hardcore

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 12 – Cardio Fix Extreme

Day 12 is a repeat of day 5. You can catch up on my update of cardio fix extreme at 21 Day Fix Extreme Week 1.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 13 – Dirty 30 Extreme or ABC Extreme

Day 13 is a repeat of day 6 or you can try an alternative workout – ABC Extreme.

I decided to switch to ABC Extreme for week 2. You can catch up on my update of dirty 30 extreme at 21 Day Fix Extreme Week 1.

ABC Extreme targets the abs and butt and pushes your workout to the extreme.

The workout involves 2 rounds with 10 exercises each and a 15 – 25 second break after each move.

You will need a set of light and medium weights and a yoga mat for this workout.

  • Round 1 – Squat tap with weights, figure 4 reach, sumo hit jump with weight, accordion with weight, squat hold with weights, squat jump, curve with a half Russian twist, lunge arabesque with weights, in and outs with weight, side plank drop with weight (left and right side)
  • Round 2 – repeat of round 1

This workout was non-stop from beginning to end and even though it was hard, it still somehow felt easy.

I was covered in sweat by the end and my legs were having a bit of trouble keeping me up.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 14 – Yoga Fix Extreme

Day 14 is a repeat of day 7. I was so happy for this day after the beating of ABC Extreme and my body really needed this.

Week 2 Meal Plan

My meal plan for week 2 was a bit boring. It was mostly a repeat of week 1 meal plan.

My daily calorie level for 21 Day Fix Extreme is 1,400 calories and I kept to that throughout the week.

Breakfast was tomato, carrot, and fennel soup and a cereal bar.

My snacks were roasted almonds, olives, and lettuce leaves.

If you’re wondering how these kinds of snacks are enough till dinner, I’ve mentioned before I’m not a big eater.

A handful of light snacks is more than enough to keep me going for hours at a time. For week 2 dinner:-

  • Coconut lime salmon with rice noodles
  • Jollof rice and pan-seared salmon
  • French fries with baked chicken breast

21 Day Fix Extreme Meal Plan

My diet is simple and I like simple food. Nutrition is the most important part of your workouts.

No matter how hard you exercise or how many weights you carry, if you don’t control what’s going in your mouth, your exercises will be for nothing.

I am quite happy with the results of 21 Day Fix Extreme so far and I’m thinking of repeating it to make it 6 weeks total but I’ll see how I feel about it by the end of the first round.
