I love Jillian Michaels workout programs because they’re fast and make the most of moves in the time frame available.
The fitness trainers accompanying her in her programs are also fun to watch and imitate.
I will compare the two workout programs and outline what makes them different so you can make an informed decision before investing in them.
Duration – Body Revolution vs BodyShred
BodyShred is 60 days while Body Revolution is 90 days.
The duration of the workouts in both programs is also similar – from 30 – 35 minutes with a few minutes for warm-up and warm-down.
Workouts – Body Revolution vs BodyShred
BodyShred has 8 workouts and 2 cardio workouts while Body Revolution has 12 workouts and 3 cardio workouts.
Intensity – Body Revolution vs BodyShred
Personally, I found both workouts equally tough. However, BodyShred prepared my body for Body Revolution.
Diet Plan – Body Revolution vs BodyShred
The BodyShred diet allows more room for flexibility while the Body Revolution diet is tougher.
Results – Body Revolution vs BodyShred
While on BodyShred, I kept to my regular diet but I had to switch it up a bit with Body Revolution because my metabolism went into overdrive from weeks 7 onwards.
When a workout program disrupts my regular diet, I know it’s toning up all the things.
Body Revolution vs BodyShred: Which Is Best?
For a more intensive program in less time for faster results, opt for BodyShred.
However, if you want something a little less intense that’s spaced out, opt for Body Revolution.
Additionally, if you’re a beginner, you might find BodyShred a little tough to get through but there are modifier moves.
Whichever one you choose depends on your fitness levels and what you’re aiming for in your fitness regimen.
